Originally from Gauteng, Dr. van der Walt brings extensive experience as a small animal veterinarian, having practiced in Vereeniging, Pretoria, and Johannesburg. She and her husband, Arnold, relocated to the Cape in search of a more relaxed and balanced lifestyle—a decision they have never looked back on.
A true animal lover, Dr. van der Walt made the move with three dogs and three cats in tow, a reflection of her deep commitment to animal welfare. Beyond her work at EberVet Pet Clinic, she regularly leads sterilisation and vaccination clinics in underserved communities. In her downtime, she enjoys exploring the region’s scenic hiking trails.
