The tiny former Lutheran missionary village of Amalienstein in the Klein Karoo was our venue for this sterilisation clinic for our friends at the Karoo Animal Protection Society. Our veterinary team with the help of the tireless, dedicated and passionate people from KAPS, sterilised 50 dogs and cats from impoverished homes at no cost to their owners. These animals were also vaccinated and treated for parasites. We set up our clinic in an old farmhouse and KAPS did amazing work transporting the animals to and from our makeshift premises.
