A green future is what we all hope for rather than the mountains of plastic we’re drowning under but in order to reach that goal, we all need to do our bit.
At Country Animal Clinic we’re committing to a green future. We want to see our children grow up in a world unpolluted by plastic waste; to see our seas free from the billions of tons of plastic that currently choke their waters. So here’s what we’re doing:
Our Green Future
Our Green Future project, driven by veterinary nurse Sr Jeanette Rudge, is multifaceted with the idea being that, as a practice, we’ve made the conscious effort to be more environmentally friendly, to waste less, to reuse more and to recycle what we can.
- We are doing away with pill packets and replacing them with reusable hard plastic containers that can be refilled and used again and again.
- We’re buying responsibly.
- We’re using as many recyclable products as possible.

“By doing this we also hope to encourage others to be more environmentally aware,” says Jeanette.
