Chronic medication: new rules

Feb 3, 2017 | IN THE NEWS, PET CARE INFO

As of 1 February 2017, EberVet’s Country Animal Clinic has new regulations in place regarding chronic medication. All chronic medication must be checked by a veterinarian before it can be dispensed.

To minimise waiting times and inconvenience please call us on 021 851 1500 to order your pet’s medication ahead of time.

Should that not be possible, please come to collect medication between 9am-1pm or 3pm-6pm when a vet is on duty to check the medication.

These new regulations have been put in place in the best interests of your pet.

We trust that you will assist us with these changes.  We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Please note pets will still be required to come for 6 monthly check ups if they are on chronic medication.
