Emergency help for your pets

Jun 20, 2017 | PET CARE INFO

After hours emergencies are terrifying to pet owners. However, help is always at hand. Like doctors, veterinarians work together to share after hours work. As much as we want to and love to help your pets, our vets aren’t able to be on duty 24 hours a day. We rely on the assistance of other veterinary colleagues for help.

Should you have an after hours emergency this is how you can get help for your pet:

Tygerberg Animal Hospital is at the corner of Bright and Reitz St, Audas Estate, Somerset West. It is open until 10pm on weekdays. You can reach them at 021 851 5739.

If you have an emergency after 10pm or on a weekend, phone them to get to the vet on call. Please note that this vet may be based at one of the other clinics in the Helderberg Basin.

An after hours surcharge will apply.

We hope that you will never need to use these services but should your pet need help after hours, be assured that help is just a phone call away.
