Join our Community Campaign

Jul 1, 2016 | PET BEHAVIOUR

Today we’re launching our Community Veterinary Care Campaign to all animal lovers. If you’re concerned about the plight of pets from impoverished homes – where food and shelter are scarce and winter is a misery – you CAN help.

At EberVet CVC we conduct free sterilisation and basic health care clinics for impoverished pet owners throughout the Helderberg, Overberg and Karoo. We travel thousands of kilometres each year to sterilise up to 1000 pets at no cost to their owners. We also dispense deworming pills, vaccinate against killer diseases and protect against parasites like ticks and fleas, working with local animal welfare organisations like Karoo Animal Protection Society, Helderberg Animal Rescue Team and Pet Pals to identify those animals most in need.

In many of the villages we visit there are no vets, or pet owners cannot afford veterinary care. The animals go without help.

We love animals and we want to do as much as we can to help them.

If you want to be part of this initiative, it’s very simple: click on the Donate button on our home page and we’ll make sure your funds go directly towards purchasing the medicines these pets need.

The vast majority of South Africa’s pets have NO veterinary care. Help us change that!
